Karachi, Pakistan, he has lived in Canada, Los Angeles, Buffalo and now
in Omaha. In addition to working as a software professional, he has
been speaking to groups about Islam and Muslims since 1993. He became
an ISBN speaker in August 2001. |

Saidi Liwaru |

Bio: |
Dr. Liwaru became
a Muslim 36 years ago. He was a captain in the U.S. Army where he served as
a clinical psychologist. He is a very experienced speaker. He is the father
of 10 and the grandfather of 25. Dr. Liwaru is the coauthor of the Muslim
Family Reader which is used as a text book in many Islamic schools in the US
and as a cultural guide for Peace Corp volunteers. He is the Amir of the Islamic
Mourid Community of Omaha and a local TV talk show host. |

Sister Maisha
is a local business owner. A graduate of Southern Illinois University,
she has spent many years introducing the facts about Islam to a variety
of groups in California, Ohio, Missouri and Nebraska. She is a well
respected mother of 10 and grandmother of 25. Maisha is the co author of
the Muslim Family Reader which is used as a text book in many Islamic
schools in the US and as a cultural guide for Peace Corp volunteers. She
is also president of the Heartland Muslim Women's Network. She became an
ISBN speaker in 2004 and currently a board member. |

Sharif
and his wife Gabrielle have three children. He moved from California in
1992 and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Sharif was
raised in Islam by his parents Saidi and Maisha Liwaru. He’s been
speaking publicly for a variety of causes and engagements for fifteen
years. He’s given speeches, led discussion seminars and panel
discussions, and presented at trainings and workshops. He became and
ISBN speaker in 2004. |

Fatima became
an ISBN speaker in 2004. She was born in Wisconsin and spent much of her
teens in New York. When she graduated from high school she moved to
Pakistan where she lived for seven years. She received her Bachelors
degree in Psychology and her Masters in International Relations. She is
currently living in Omaha and has been happily married for six year. |

Tehmina was
born in Pakistan. She has lived in United States for twenty-three years
and in Omaha for the last seventeen years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree
in Economics from Pakistan. Presently she is attending University of
Nebraska at Omaha to get her teaching certification and is currently
working for Omaha Public Schools. She became and ISBN speaker in August
2001. She is an ISBN board member. A proud mother of two wonderful boys
(a freshman at Creighton University and a senior at Wharton Business
School), she is married to Jahan Zeb, her inspiration to work for the
right causes in life. |

Appleton, Wisconsin, she became Muslim in 1995. Since graduating from
Creighton University in 1995, she has started a family and begun a
career as a technical analyst for a prominent bank in Omaha. She is
currently the President of ISBN and a speaker as necessary. |
